Artworks

My work focuses on constructing narratives around social and ecological sustainability. At the core of my practice are values such as circularity, energy efficiency, empathy, mutualism, and equity. Sustainability is not just a theme but a fundamental element that permeates my process, conceptual exploration, and the representation of my artwork.

My artistic philosophy has been profoundly influenced by ecofeminism, queer ecology, and the works of indigenous scientists and thinkers such as Anishinaabe botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer and Inuit leader Sheila Watt-Cloutier. These philosophies emphasize the interconnectedness of beings and suspend the need for otherization, providing a pathway to create a relationship with nature that transcends exploitation, utilitarianism, and capitalist views.

Through my work, I aim to produce long-term cultural shifts by promoting green narratives and implementing socioecological circular processes. I also seek to create direct impact through education, believing that art can help us radically reimagine the world. My goal is to represent positive, viable futures, using art to inspire change and foster a deeper connection with both our social and natural environments.

In summary, my artistic practice is a deliberate effort to intertwine beauty with sustainability, performance with cultural critique, and historical context with contemporary relevance. By doing so, I strive to create works that not only engage and inspire but also provoke thought and drive meaningful action towards a more equitable and sustainable world.
