Ashley Gilmour

Originally from Brazil, Ashley Gilmour has lived and travelled across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Drawn to stories that explore different worldviews and cultures, she edited the CBC documentary Kosher Love (nominated for a Canadian Screen Award), the PBS documentary A People’s Soundtrack, the CBC documentary Daughters of the Voice, as well as the shorts Hannah and the Wolf, Faraway, Je Parle, and Hightail. As a fellow of the Editors' Lab at the Canadian Film Centre, she recently edited the CFC short films The Love We Made and I Remember the Footprints in the Snow.

Ashley is the brave film editor who will undertake the task of creating a non-narrative film that will be integrated into the Terrarium installation.
